Museo de Franz Mayer

Just a quick post to comment on one of my favourite museums in Mexico City, that is in the heart of the Centro Historico, but which is so often overlooked by visitors and locals alike. The Franz Mayer museum not only holds some of the finest antiquities and paintings but also host some of the best exhibitions. Add to that it’s gloriously colourful colonial architecture and delightful courtyard, with a coffee shop, and it’s a great place to while away an hour or three.
