December 24th 1925 to February 15th 2009. My brother painted this portrait of my dad a while ago, and had it framed last week and hung in his room, which cheered him up. There was no happy ending to the story, other than everyone was with him in his final moments, and he did live to 83 which is not a bad achievement in itself. Most of us would take that age if offered to us. He will be greatly missed.
