I’ve come across these strange fellows before, but just the once. Their appearance seems to coincide with town fairs. Who they are, and where they come from was a mystery, but I today discovered that they are called Chinelos, and have a history dating back more than a hundred years. They won’t stand still for long enough for a decent photo, so I set the camera to video mode.

I was going to say that I feel as if I just stumbled into the Star Wars bar. But I feel that way a lot these days.
Now you mentione it…that’s where George Lucas stole all his ideas from!
