Thanks Don Felipe. I’m guessing the vast ice rink, igloos and huts that are occupying the Zocalo are why.

I’m not keen on all these huts by the by. I thought they were going to house nativity scenes. No such luck – they’re silly little shops and info desks.

Nice video. One has to wonder, however, why they put this thing smack dab in the middle of the city´s main drag, snarling traffic. I would have voted for the Zócalo.

Great video. Is it just me (and it usually is) or does that “tree” look as if someone lopped the top off of a San Miguel de Allende steeple?
