Actually it's not these organized fireworks displays that get me....its the random ones involving just rockets and bangers after midnight! Some of the smaller towns on the outskirts of the city have fantastic castles and bulls.

Looks like they're having fun.

If you don't like this kind of thing, you should have moved to a quieter country. LOL

Oh!

This brings back memories :)

Admittedly the clip showed a far more dangerous scenario than I ever found myself experiencing, but it still brought back memories of the October celebrations we have in my family's town. Cuetes, torritos, castillos and all...I always Loved it. Though I tried keeping my distance my natural Mexican instinct led me to weaving in and out from el torro's menacing path (did I ever tell you of the time I was chased by a real herd of bulls? Ok, so it was one bull and the rest were cows, but it was still terrifying!). I'd always get a rush, though I played it safe and wasn't nearly as brave (or stupid really) to get right in front of it. It was lovely.

Thanks for sharing. I haven't taken part in this kind of event in a lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng time. Last time I did, I ended up zig zagging my way to my aunt's house, trying to avoid the dangerous sparks...and getting bitten by the neighbors "perrito"... so the clip has been a bit nostalgic for me.
