Having been without a mobile communications device since my Sagem packed up some time after Christmas, I have finally felt flush enough to open my wallet and splash out on the cheapest phone possible with some semblance of style. A Motorola C261. It doesn’t have Java, video, IR, Bluetooth, load of games or flip/slide open to reveal a full Qwerty keyboard, or any other gimmicky feature that seems to be all the rage the world over.
It does have exactly what I need and want though. The ability to make and receive phone calls, text messages and a little internet surfing, all on a bigger than average screensize. Oh, and a camera too, which according to the reviews is extremely good, although when I will use it I don’t know. Best thing is that it cost just MXN$1030, which is about US$100 or GBP£50….bargain!!
There’s only one thing it can’t do that I wish it could…..use Opera Mini.
