Liverpool FC have just completed the £27 million (US$50 million) purchase of Fernando Torres, one of the worlds top strikers. Fantastic news for LFC fans like myself, and hopefully there are more signings to come.
Another reason for this post though – the photo above, pilfered from a web site, was processed by one of the many new online photo editors about. I’ve only had a brief look at some of the editors out there. I used Phixr to edit this image, and I have to say it seems by far the best editor I’ve come across so far. There is one feature I want though – frames. Phixr has a few border options, and the Instant Photo option I used here, but that’s it. More than others are offering, but not enough for my liking! I’ve gotten used to adding fancy frames in Corel Paint Shop Pro. Any one know of a good online editor with a large selection of frames?
Web 2.0, which a very loose description of any interactive web site like Flickr, Blogger, Phixr etc, has really come on strong over the last year. Along with my USB Portable Apps collection, I really can turn any PC into my PC instantly. Very cool.
