Rainy Season

It is the height of the rainy season….that means it rains. Pretty heavily. Everyday. At least it is at a regular time, about 4pm each day, so you know where you stand when you hang out the washing to dry. But the last week it has really rained. And thundered and lightening. You don’t get this sort of thunder and lightning back in the UK.

It’s seriously window pane shaking stuff. The lightning is actually a blessing – it gives you 5 to 10 seconds advance warning to prepare for a potentially heart attack inducing explosion.
