New Years English Resolutions

People are always so full of good intentions in January. I suspect this is why I have suddenly been flooded with requests for classes. I’m losing one student who is moving to the US, but have replaced her, plus another one – just about managed to squeeze him into my pretty full schedule. So I’ve decided it’s time to get myself organised too. I really can’t be bothered to set up a school though – the bureaucracy is just ridiculous. If I were planning on staying in Mexico for 3 years mor, minimum, then it might be worth the aggravation, but seeing as current plans have me leaving at some stage in 2009, it really isn’t.

Still, that’s no reason not to turn my idea into a blog cum website, with potential to expand. Although I’ve only just started it, so a bit of work to do yet. I am spreading my teaching wings anyway, as one of the jobs I’ve accepted is at a bank, Bancomer, in Coyoacan. Last November Lilly, where most of my classes are based, had an audit for two weeks. Needless to say, they all cancelled. So it’s good to have a little diversity in my schedule!
