Teachers Day

Yesterday was an important day. Perhaps the most important day in the whole of the Mexican calendar. It was Teachers Day! Yes, my day. Of course I don’t work in a school like Paola does, so it’s not a proper holiday for me. She got the day off. My morning students cancelled anyway, so I did have a lie in before I went to get my passport sorted.

Presents? Paola got a bracelot and assorted bits and bobs. Me? Well I got a melted Ferrero Rocher yesterday and today I got a chocolate slice and a cup of coffee! Well, I always get a cup of coffee on my Weds and Fri morning classes, but still – todays coffee had a blue spoon in it…

I even tried out the camera on my new phone and it appears it does work. And I can transfer the images to my PC. And it’s not too bad an image really, for such a sucky little camera!
