Viva Mexico

I’m off tomorrow for our annual trip to Huichapan, in the state of Hidalgo, for the long weekend that is granted to us to properly celebrate Mexican Independence Day. It’s a fabulous weekend, perhaps the biggest celebration in the Mexican calendar. I say perhaps only because some people might consider Christmas more important!

I will be indulging in the best carnitas and barbacoa that the country has to offer, splashing around in the hot springs, relaxing and then making my way to the main square on Monday evening to hear someone shout the Grito!

So no more posts from me for a few days. So just one last thing to say….Viva Mexico Cabrones!!!!
