Coyoacan

If there is one thing that is depressing about Mexico (ok there are plenty of things, like anywhere else, but one thing at a time!) is how long it takes to get things done. A year to build a poxy fly-over outside my house, for example. But my how things speed along in more wealthy areas!

We visited Coyoacan before going to Huichapan for Independence Day, for the first time in three months. Last time we went, both of the two squares were sealed off as repaving took place. Now one square is totally open, the other is partly open and a substantial amount of work has taken place! It’s still achingly slow progress compared to what I’m used to seeing in the UK, but still…
