Coyoacan Road Race

My training for the Mexico City Marathon is going along nicely, although it is still early days. But this weekend I’m hoping to take part in my first competitive road race, the Tune Up Pfizer Coyoacán 2009. Hoping, because I haven’t booked a place yet and I’m leaving it late.

There are two options, 5 miles or 10 miles. I’m going for 5 miles, because I’m lazy. Or really, because 5 miles is just a little more than my longest practise run so far, whereas 10 miles is more than double it. I’m sure I could do it, but it’d kill me! So 5 miles it is.

I’m still hoping for a few more bloggers to write a post about my Maraton blog, to enable me to raise a bit of money for charity, so if you have the time please help out!
