Cars and Monsters

Mexico City is a city of art. Abstract, classical, nonsensical. You name it, it’s here and it’s everywhere. And I do mean everywhere. I’ve photographed two little exhibitions over the last week, the first of which is situated in a little square opposite the Blue Tile House (aka Sanborns) and very near Bellas Artes. It’s a collection of car art. Tiled cars, cut up cars, turn key cars.

Some metro stations also have temporary exhibitions, with Chabacano currently housing a cabinet or two of mysterious monsters. With the focus being on their eyes. But I wonder how long before someone fits them all with blue anti flu face masks…
