Last Christmas

As in, the last photo of Christmas. Mexico’s record breaking tree took some time to go up. And I guess it’s going to take some time to get it back down again. The photo below shows the state of play, eleven days after the lights were flicked off for the last time. I do wonder though, what becomes of it now? Will it be packed away ready to be brought out again next year? Or sold off to another city/country? Surely not the latter. Mexico’s greed for world records is becoming legendary – they wouldn’t want to have simply a share in the record.
