Bicentenario – Rear End

This year, 2010, is a big year for Mexico. The country celebrates 100 years since the Revolution, and the 200th year of Independence. There’s also the 25th anniversary of the deadly 1985 earthquake, and more happily the 5th anniversary of my arrival in Mexico. Well, my second arrival, anyway. But my new photography project is concentrating on those historical anniversaries. There’s gonna be plenty of partying, and lots of posters, artwork and other independence items have been cropping up already. I’m intending to spend the whole year shooting as much of the 1810-2010 stuff as possible, and will be putting it all up here on my photo blog. I also have a Bicentenario set in Flickr which is just as easy a way to see the photos as I take them.
