Mexican Days

I love this video. The owner of this Vimeo account released another great video last year which went viral in the Mexpat community. This new one is just as good if you ask me.  And worth watching full screen. I wish I had the talent/ patience/ equipment to make a video like this. I miss Mexico City. A lot. If you’re tired of hearing me say that, then pity my work colleagues who get a daily earful of my pining. But I will be back. And even if you have little interest in Mexico City, the videos are both worth watching, for their creative attributes alone.

I haven’t commented in a while, but I have to say…its lovely to see your passion, enthusiasm and appreciation for Mexico/Mexico City. Sometimes it seems like everyone has such a terrible image of the country/people/culture, that its very encouraging when I hear/read/see any positive words said. I love that despite its flaws you’ve clearly developed a love for Mexico. As a Mexican-American its very interesting to see Mexico through your perspective…its given me a better appreciation for it 🙂 I hope you do return some day and continue to blog more about your experiences.

Nice video! I’m sure you can make one just as nice, if not better.

And it made me miss DF too.

Where we’d be in DF right now if it weren’t for a few commitments here.

    • Having shot a few fairly rubbishy videos in my time, I’ve come to really appreciate just how much time, patience, persistence and technical ability is required to shoot a decent video. but I will persevere, in hope…!

Commitments, damned commitments and bloody obligations. Life is too full of them.
