I don’t drink tea. Ghastly stuff. I didn’t drink coffee until early 2004, and only then out of laziness. I worked with someone who brewed up on the hour every hour. It just seemed easier to say yes to a cup, than stand up and go get my own drink. I learned to love coffee. If there’s a choice, Starbucks wins every time. Cafe Nero is a close second. Costa Coffee is a distant third. Recently I went green and bought a reusable cup that gets me 25p off whenever I visit Starbucks. Which is quite often. If I’ve not got an early start at work, I’ll usually be found sometime between 7 and 9 am in my local Starbucks, sipping a latte and reading the Times on my iPad or iPhone. Life is always good in a comfy chair with a hot latte.

    • It’s that time of year when I have to pause at the counter and decide between Toffee Nut Latte of Gingerbread Latte. If I opt for whipped cream on top, then just a little, por favor.

Quantity is no issue for me, but if it’s getting late in the day I’ll go for decaf. One does like to be able to sleep at bed time.
