Shooting Stars

I’ve always found photographing fireworks a tough ask. Mainly because I usually insist on trying to shoot hand held snaps. It really does help if you use a tripod. Or even a Gorillapod balanced on top of a dustbin. The photo below, from this small set on Flickr, came courtesy of the Bournemouth fireworks show that is put on for the tourists every Friday evening in summer.
