This virus outbreak has escalated predictably rapidly. That’s about all that is terribly predictable about this. Mrs P and I were set for a Friday evening jaunt to London in April to sample a few whites, reds and roses. Alas, that will not happen. I’d rate our trip to Malta in less than two weeks is highly unlikely. I think it’s safe to assume that anything happening in April will likely not happen in April.
I’m not upset at the cancellation. I will be refunded the money we paid. My language in previous posts might suggest I have a rather cavalier attitude towards the virus. I assure you, I do not. I accept that there is a reasonable likelihood that I will at some stage, sooner or later, catch the disease. I do recognise its danger. And I’d rather not catch anything nasty unnecessarily. But I will try to carry on as normal as much as possible.
