Simpler Times

This time last year, Mrs P and I were in Vietnam, enjoying the most wonderful two week holiday we’ve ever had. I couldn’t recommend the country enough. We’d like to go back. To both Vietnam, and 2019. But, obviously, it’s probably best not to travel there just at the moment. Maybe later in the year. Or next year. When life gets back to normal. It will get back to normal, won’t it? I think everyone will have their own answer for that particular question.

The video I’ve posted shows Mrs P taking it easy aboard a boat cruising Halong Bay. The music she’s listening too is the theme from one of her favourite films. It stars Edward Norton. Set in China, Ed’s character is a doctor trying to help stop a Cholera epidemic. Topical viewing, is it not?  Perhaps this should be the theme tune for 2020. It’s a serene piece of music. But also sorrowful. Maybe even a little bit sinister.
