Clap for the NHS

I’ll say it again, the people who work for the NHS are heroes. Even before the Covid-19 outbreak they were underpaid, poorly supported and overworked heroes. Now, they are superheroes. I’m minded to start a petition to have their next uniform design feature a big red and yellow ‘S’ on the front.

They’re worth every moment of the applause. Make no mistake, this country is grateful for them and that has been proven by these organised thank yous. Also, it’s nice that people are taking the time to clap for nurses rather than the normal, which is to go to nurses to try and sort out their case of clap.
