How The Coronavirus Ends

It’s a fools game, trying to predict anything in this Coronavirus ridden world. How many people will die? That’s a favourite. There are reasonable estimates of around 50,000 in the USA alone. There are equally reasonable estimates of more than 1.5 million American deaths. Like I say, predictions are a fools game.

But I’m going to make a prediction anyway. And I’m pretty convinced I’ll be proven right on this one. I might not be able to say how or when this pandemic will end. But I’ll go on record now and say that it will end with everything being very clean, properly screwed down and/or freshly painted.

Check out my motor. It hasn’t gleamed like that since last October when I drove it out of the showroom. Tomorrow I’ll do the interior. Tuesday I’ll check the tyres. It’s best not to rush anything. Don’t do in one day what can be dragged out over the course of a week.

Thus far Mrs P is absolutely delighted that the virus has seen cleanliness levels markedly improve in the UK – approaching, though not quite meeting, her own exacting standards.
