Avon Heath
The trick at the moment is to find somewhere to exercise – walk, in my case – that is devoid of people. I’m tired of having to dodge potential germ ridden super spreaders, zig zagging along the beach, repeatedly crossing the road or backing into dense brambles to let people pass along forest paths.
Places devoid of people are hard to find, but they do exist. I ventured cautiously into a patch of forest/heath near Ringwood, eyes darting right and left to spy errant ramblers. I needn’t have worried. I was very almost the only person there. So deserted was it, that I managed a guilt-free sit down next to some water to ponder life, love and the universe. Ponderings which came to nothing, I’m afraid.
