Just for those who have been so engrossed by my series of photos showing the construction of the worlds biggest Christmas Tree….here’s the latest installment. A crane is adding the final piece, and the lights will surely be flicked on soon. I don’t normally travel this road after dark, because it’s just not anywhere near my neighbourhood. But I guess I’m going to have to make the effort!

Oh! I thought it would look more Christmassy. Still, I am sure it will delight once the lights have been switched on.

I know what you mean. If a tricolor was needed, you’d have though red, white and green would have been the obvious choice…

They’ve got a way to go if it is, but give them time – Mexico City has become obsessed with world records.
The lights are being turned on tonight – I shall be there to see it.
