Pixable Mosaics

I tried out a new photo service that I stumbled across today, from Pixable. Essentially, you can choose a single photo (from Facebook, Flickr, Photobucket, Picasa or your PC) which you’d like to be turned into a mosaic. You then select up to 250 of your photos with which to create the mosaic. Press a few buttons and hey presto. A mosaic appears. How good is it? Well the results of my first effort is below. I think perhaps for better results, it is best to choose a simple, clean image with defined lines. Which I didn’t do!
