Torre Latinoamericana shot from in front of Bellas Artes, eh? Nice silhouettes, though the Sears is less interesting.

Where we should be out shooting pictures of bare branches with snow on them. But aren’t.

Torre Latinoamericana is just too recognisable a landmark to fool anyone I guess! Perhaps I should take a few more silhouettes of more challenging icons, just for fun. See who really knows DF…!

Actually, it was the sculpture that tipped me off more than the tower. But the tower was confirmatory evidence.

Where, really, there are far too many snow-covered branches. And snow-covered everything else.
Any more, and the city will come to a stop.

The snow is that bad?

Yeah, we’ve already had 3-4 snowstorms with more than 6″ each, and the snow is just piled up everywhere. In the streets and on many sidewalks it’s a grey, slushy mess. We’ve all had to work hard to keep our sidewalks and driveways clear, and the piles of snow are 4′-5′ high in places.
My constant, daily fantasy these days is being in Mexico, not here in the snow.
