Photographic Investments – Part 2

I’ve renewed by VSCO Premium subscription, having allowed my membership to lapse a year or so ago. Having upgraded my old 2015 model iPad Mini to a new 2019 model iPad Air, I’ll do more of my processing on the go, rather than on my iMac. I like VSCO and it offers good value for the price of the £19.99 annual sub. It was always a good app, but it’s been noticeably improved during my absence. It even provides a gallery

Mrs P and I arose very early this morning. We were both awake by 5am. We hadn’t intended to be up before dawn, but last nights M&S Lamb Rogan Josh had other plans for us. We weren’t ill, per se. Just a little burbley. So we got up and made the most of such an early start to the day by heading down to the beach to catch sunrise.

Alas, a sweeping sea mist caught most of the sunrise and swept it away. But it was still a pleasant and calm enough morning for a brisk 10km stroll. We went from pier to pier. Bournemouth to Boscombe, and back again. How many photos can one take of a pair of piers in one morning, you might wonder? Dozens. And then dozens more. But having weeded out the photographic flotsam and put what remained through VSCOs filters, I can treat you to the six survivors. Plus two groyne shots, for good measure.
